About Us


Colton Properties is a real estate developer and founded 15 years ago, dba Colton Fettig Company, by Graham Colton.  Through the ensuing years, the company has grown to become the preeminent residential developer in Southwest Portland.  Graham's prior background was in the world of commercial real estate at CB Richard Ellis (formerly Coldwell Banker).  Having spent 10 years as head of the Acreage Department, his career was followed by 15 years as Executive Vice President and Resident Manager of brokerage, property management, mortgage banking, appraisal, and development services.


Colton Properties, LLC is locally owned and operated and has an excellent team of land use planners, engineers, wetland, geotechnical, environmental consultants, and general contractors ensuring that each project is developed to the highest standards and in harmony with the local governmental jurisdictions.  


The majority of Colton Properties residential communities are located in West Portland including Tigard, Tualatin, Beaverton, Aloha, Hillsboro, and Lake Oswego.  We have also engaged in projects outside of Portland in markets such as Yamhill County and Vancouver, Washington.  In the past, the company sold over 1000 finished lots to various local, regional and national homebuilders.  


Presently, we have 190 lots in 9 individual subdivisions either under construction or in the final planning stages.  We are committed to delivering quality living environments to meet the future needs our growing communities.

  • Flexible Acquisition.  We have the ability to pay all cash within (30) days, depending on the property for a quick close.


  • We prefer to acquire property when the Preliminary Plat has been achieved from the appropriate jurisdiction with an Acquisition & Development Loan.


  • We can acquire property on a land sale contract.


  • We can close on the land and have the owner remain in possession for an extended period of time.
